Yoga Workshop with Instructor Alexandria Wailes
What to expect: An opportunity to get
your inner groove on through Vinyasa
flow, as well as a better understanding of what this
type of yoga looks and feels like.
Join Alexandria in a ninety-minute
workshop focusing on the asanas
(physical practice) of Vinyasa
flow, pranyamas
(breathing), meditation and mudras (handshapes). She is a certified yoga instructor,
having completed the 200-hour program at Laughing Lotus Yoga College, in NYC.
When not doing yoga or teaching ASL, she is the artistic director of Senses
Askew Company, a creative person extraordinaire with a chock full
of acting credits and a BFA to modern
dance, and is an educator at the Intrepid, the Whitney, the Lower East Side
Tenement Museum and the Rubin Museum of Art.
What to bring: An open mind, a
positive attitude and your yoga mat!
